Editorial Product Review:Item Description:Will you become a true Jedi knight or a mystical Sith apprentice? Now you have the power to choose your destiny. Build and reconfigure Jedi or Sith style lightsabers with more than 20 easy-to-assemble parts. Or create your own customized combination for a lightsaber that's uniquely yours. Electronic lights and sounds help you play your part in the epic battle of good verses evil. Colors may vary.
Editorial Review:We’re not certain whether this is how it was done among the Jedi and the Sith, whether they had to go to the trouble of actually constructing their own lightsabers. There’s no overt reference to any kind of lightsaber vendor in any of the six movies. And if there was one, would he supply both the empire and the rebels? Or would there be some sort of contractual stipulation against that? You’re free to ponder these issues as you build your own weapon by choosing a Jedi or Sith blade, a color to appear when it lights up, and a crystal, which, in the mythology of Star Wars, gives the saber its power. The kit comes with one hilt, two blades, two emitters, two caps, and three crystals. You could even take both blades and build a double-bladed saber. There aren’t endless possibilities here, leaving the kit somewhat disappointing as a construction toy but it’s a nice way of customizing your own weapon, depending whether you’re good or evil.

I was just wondering why this lightsaber kit is $39.99 in Toys R Us and $124.00 on Amazon?

Kids Loved It
I bought 3 of these for my kids and they LOVED them. Play with them all the time. They have had them for several months and are still in working order.

Best gift I ever bought my grandkids!
I bought this for my grandsons with some reservation because of the reviews that described this toy as frustrating and too complex. It has been the biggest hit with my entire family. From age 11 to 34, this game keeps you active as you try to apply your newly learned saber moves to overcome your opponent. All of us have reached the top level and still play this for hours. There is nothing complicated about this game but it does take practice to develop the skills. If you are having problems, give it to a 10 year old and ask them to teach you.

Excellent kid pleaser
I think all the kids loved this toy. It held their interest for more than 5 minutes and gives them the challenge of reading instructions and completing the procedures to make and remake the different types of lightsabers... All in all a great toy and I highly recommend it.
